TBO FD3S

Magazines for sale here!

To me TBO has never really been synonymous with RX-7s, but I am glad to see them toying with arguably the world’s favorite factory rotary powered vehicle. Time Between Overhaul is recognized as a one of the “OGs” of aero, at least in my experience. They have always been at the top of my list of aero I want to own. Unfortunately the company subsided a while ago, leaving us to hunt for their desired aero that has made a lasting impression on us all. Now I learned about TBO by their staple they have on the aero market, but I never realized that they were also a garage that produced built demo cars. Obviously they have to showcase their handiwork somehow. Yet, this FD3S doesn’t only showcase their capabilities crafting bodywork. Let’s decipher this article and learn together what their RX-7 boasts.

(1st paragraph)

Strong against Nissan cars, TBO is showing its age, but years of know-how has been poured into the RX-7. The white anfini pictured here not only has the original aerodynamics on the hood and other parts, but even the engine has been thoroughly modified.

(2nd paragraph)

Under the hood up to 330ps a powered-up 13B is alive and well. The fresh air that passes through the power flow is supercharged by the T04R turbine, cooled by the HKS intercooler, and sent to 13B. During that time, supercharing is controlled by FBC, and the original computer controls the fuel perfectly. In addition, an original radiator has been installed for engine cooling, making it completely flawless when it comes to increasing power. Furthermore, the exhaust system has been tuned with an original exhaust manifold and muffler to improve exhaust efficiency and provide a pleasant exhaust sound.

(3rd paragraph)

Of course, suspension-related tuning I haven’t forgotten either. Original coilovers are combined with springs of 12kg/mm at the front and 10kg/mm at the rear, achieving handling that allows you to fully enjoy the RE power souped up to the 330ps. And by replacing the pads and hoses, stopping power has definitely been increased. In addition, the interior is equipped with original parts such as - quick shift and roll bar and is flawless in terms of functionality. TBO with striking styling and reliable high performance, Seven owners should also check out.
